Hindi everyday conversation

Use three connected lessons to say what is available, ask someone to help, and specify how much or how many you need. Two dialogue games follow independent production so that the exchange has a clear purpose.

Separate availability from family relationships

The possession lesson uses के पास and forms such as मेरे पास for objects someone has or has available. The thing possessed controls the copula in the examples.

The lesson also distinguishes this pattern from relatives and other relationships expressed with possessive forms. English have does not select one Hindi construction in every context.

Choose the action and the address form

The requests lesson practices respectful imperative forms and common irregular verbs. It keeps the person addressed separate from the person receiving an item.

Politeness also depends on delivery, relationship and context. A short dialogue connects an actual request to a relevant response, while the independent tasks ask you to construct the message yourself first.

Match the number to the noun and the transaction

The numbers lesson introduces useful small quantities, count nouns and mass nouns. It distinguishes asking how many items from asking an amount or price.

In the dialogue, an order is followed by a quantity check and a relevant total. The meaning of each line supplies the reason for its position instead of requiring you to guess a purely arbitrary sequence.
