Connect an event to its place in time
A completed event uses a different construction from a present routine or a simple future. Learn the role of an auxiliary and participle in the past, then compare the person endings carried by a future verb. Time expressions help identify when something happens, but they do not replace the structure or automatically settle every tense choice.
Choose the auxiliary and check agreement
Avere is common in completed past accounts, while selected verbs and ordinary reflexive constructions use essere. Physical movement alone does not decide between them. Subject agreement with essere and the preceding object boundary with avere deserve separate attention. The lessons use clear participants so you can explain why a particular ending appears instead of guessing from the nearest noun.
Tell a routine, an event and a plan
Describe what you usually do, report what you did yesterday, and state a plan for tomorrow. Keep the person consistent while changing the time construction. A reflexive pronoun may move when it attaches to an infinitive, and a future can sometimes express a present guess. The boundary cases keep these useful beginner patterns accurate as your reading expands.
